The Sevilla Tapas Tour was amazing. Highly recommend. Elio was born and raised in Sevilla so he knew the ins and outs of the neighborhoods. He takes to only small, locally owned businesses. The food and drink were all delicious. We went to small spots that were gems that we would have never found on our own. Coming on this tour was hands down one of the best decisions we made in Sevilla.

Excellent food tour with Elio in April 2026. We chose this one specifically as it’s a small independent and we made a good call. Elio’s passion and enthusiasm for local food came shining through. We went to five local restaurants - the sort we would have walked passed as tourists - and enjoyed local traditional tapas with traditional drinks around the Seville. We went to a restaurant recommendation the following night which was also excellent. A great 3 hours - would highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic experience.

My husband and I took a tapas tour with Elio. Our group was small with 3 other couples; we appreciated the small group size. We stopped at 5 places and all were very good. Elio was also kind enough to make recommendations for our other Spain stops. He is truly knowledgeable and passionate about food tours!

Elio was a wonderful tour guide. He took us to places we never would have found. He knows a lot about wine and food. He also is an expert on all things about Seville. We went to where he ate breakfast as a 5 year old. I like that he keeps the tours small. This is a perfect tour for adults. I personally would not bring kids. Find them a babysitter so you can have fun.

Our tapas tour with the wonderful Elio in Sevilla was just great. Stopping first at his wife's charcuterie was terrific and I enjoyed the sherry/ham/cheese lesson. The second stop was incredibly memorable as it was a very interesting and family-owned place called Casa Moreno. My favorite bite of the evening was here, a chorizo and blue cheese sandwich. The next three stops all offered something unique and delicious - we all enjoyed the bakery at the end even though we were pretty full. The group was genial, only 8 people, and we enjoyed their company. Elio really goes above and beyond. He sent us all good recs for future cities we would be visiting on the trip - Madrid, Cadiz, etc. He is a delightful person. I would totally choose this tour over larger companies. Thank you Elio!

It was a really good experience. I had the opportunity to enjoy some of the most iconic restaurants in Seville and Elio, the host, did the whole experience really unique. Totally recommend.

Elio made our tapas tour the highlight of our visit to Seville. A true foodie, and a wine and sherry aficionado, Elio's passion for his city and his neighbourhoods comes through with every word. We started with pringa y chicharron de Cadiz, chorizo picante con cabrales and tortilla de patatas de diseno then moved onto a sherry tutorial and introduction to Jamon Iberia at Productos de la Sierra, Calle Adriano. This shop is amazing with quality products reflecting the charcuterie of the region. We carried on to 2 other wonderful tapas bars and dined on the local specialties there. We finished at a bakery that had been a family business since 1905, enjoying pastries that were familial recipes passed on for 4 generations. Seville tapas tours with Elio was the most spectacular component of our visit to Seville, and I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Seville.

It was such a pleasure to meet Elios and we had a really great evening. We have not travelled much in Spain and not visited Seville before but we love eating different foods and our stomachs were more than satisfied … from sherry, cured meats, lots of different tapas and a bakery visit everywhere we visited was a feast for all the sense. A fabulous afternoon spent in the company of Elio who shared his deep knowledge, passion and favourite family-owned tapas bars and bakery. Elio even did a solo tour just for me. If authentic and personal experiences are your thing then, like me, you’ll be delighted!

If you love good food and exploring a new city with a local; do not hesitate to book with Elio. Our tour lasted 4 hours and was worth the premium price. We visited 5 places off the beaten track, non- touristy and full of locals. Elio is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Seville, good food and looking after people. There are a limited number of guests on each tour which makes it feel like an evening out with friends. Elio was happy to offer advice on visiting other restaurants and tapas bars in Seville. He even supplied a surprise birthday candle at the end of the evening!

This was problably the best food tour that we took. Elio took us to places where locals go and explaind to us everything about cherry vine and local food. Would recomend 10/10.

Easiest 5* I’ve given in ages. A true local food guy, passionate and informed, great company; very much a part of local food culture so picks his venues and foods extremely well. Spent the rest of our holiday following his recommendations, every one of which was superlative, including ones he took the time to give us, and even arrange before we even met, and everything non-touristy, in price too. Go with Elio rather than a tour company, you won’t regret it.

My wife and I went on Elio’s tapas tour today and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We visited some very local, very traditional tapas bars that we would probably have been reluctant to enter as tourists and the food was excellent. Standout dishes for me were the spicy chorizo with blue cheese served hot in fresh bread and the pigs cheek stewed in px sherry. Elio has an in depth knowledge of sherry and wine in general which he was happy to share with us. He was also very happy to recommend what he considers the best local restaurants and coffee shops. It was a great way to learn more about Seville and its food and I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend to book a tour with Elio! As a local Sevillan, he brought us to enjoy a number of house specialties around the city. Especially enjoyed the chorizo picante con cabrales (came back the next day again) and got very lucky to try the first batch of fresh & warm torrijas (usually cold...came back for torrijas with wine) made on Ash Wednesday! We also got a quick pork meat cuts and Sherry wine masterclass with Elio! You will never see the typical Iberian ham shops and wine shops around Andalusia region the same after this! All the best to Elio for his level 3 wine exam in the coming weeks!

Yesterday my husband and I went on a tapas tour we loved everything! Great organization, atmospheric places, and delicious tapas with very good drinks. The guide was engaging and charismatic, and we learned a lot about Seville’s culture and cuisine. It was my first experience like this in my life, and it turned out to be 100% amazing truly a top experience! Highly recommend!👍👍👍

Had an absolute great time. Was on a tour with just the family. Visited only places one would never find as a tourist and all the food and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. Lot of info about Sevilla and surrounding. It was not like taking a tour with a guide but getting around with a friend showing his city. The wife of the owner owns a small deli and will for sure be ordering some goodies from there!

Having been on a few food tours in the past across different countries....this was a revelation. Elio is passionate, with stories to match... Food history and variety on offer was amazing. The pork cheeks were to die for and we loved the starting spicy tomato and blue cheese combo :) This is a heavy weight champion in the food world... Pushing boundaries and doing stuff others don't. Wir waren vor ein paar Jahren schon hier und waren damals schon so begeistert, dass wir dieses Mal ohne zu überlegen nochmals mit ihm gebucht haben. Während dieser Tour waren wir an versteckten kleinen Orten, wo wir überraschende Tapas Leckereien geniessen konnten. Alle Orte wirken extrem authentisch und haben uns extrem gut gefallen. Elio gestaltet die Reise durch die Tapas-Welt mit einem Enthusiasmus und mit Freude, die einen ansteckt und mitreisst. Vielen Dank, lieber Elio!

I cannot recommend this Seville Tapas Tour with Elio highly enough!! We had an added challenge with our family group of 5 because one of us had mobility challenges. Elio contacted me a week or so before the tour and when I explained the challenge, he made me feel completely at ease by telling me how he was planning the stops to make it all doable for our party! The 5 stops were so thoughtfully selected and as Elio said at the start of the tour "I want you to feel like you are hanging out, eating with a friend, at the places we eat at in Seville". We felt exactly that way. Elio also never rushed the tour, and was so knowledgeable about every restaurant, and all the food we experienced. You can also tell that this is not just any touristy food tour. Elio brought gifts to the establishments that hosted the tastings, and you can tell there's a mutual respect and friendship with each stop we had. Warning - this is LOT of food so go very hungry!!!! We can't wait to come back to Seville and will be recommending this tour to any of our friends that visit.

I went on a tapas food tour in Sevilla, and it was the highlight of my entire trip to Spain. The tour company is run by just two people, and our guide, Elio, was raised in Seville—so he truly knows the city inside and out. He takes you to family-owned businesses that have been around for generations, and his love for both the food and the city is infectious. I actually found his tour through Reddit. He was active in the r/Sevilla subreddit, sharing his favorite places to eat and giving thoughtful recommendations—without ever promoting his business. That alone says so much about who he is. When I clicked on his profile and saw that he offered tours, I knew I had to book with him. The experience was authentic, personal, and unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend it more. 10/10!

My husband and I like to do food tours to get a proper taste for where we're visiting and this one ranks very highly vs the other ones we have done. There was plenty of food and beverages, and it was all delicious and interesting. I recommend skipping breakfast before you go on the tour. Elio is very knowledgeable - especially about the wine - and was a really friendly host, also sending us a recommendation for dinner the day before. We had our 2-year-old with us and it was fine, although a pram wouldn't be recommended as some of the places were quite cosy. Thank you Elio for a lovely day!

We chose an evening Tapas tour with Elio and we were very pleased. Smaller venues off the beaten track with food & drink chosen to give an insight into Seville tapas. There was plenty of food and it was great quality. A good balance of fun and some useful education into iberico ham, cheeses, wines and sherry. The atmosphere throughout was friendly and inclusive. Genuinely feels like an evening out with friends. Recommended.

The tour included 5 stops - we learned a lot about Iberico ham and sherry, Elio’s specialty interest. Elio adapted the tour to my vegetarian/pescatarian diet. Food choices and locations were great! When visiting a new city, we are a family that looks to learn about the history, culture and people through the food and local gathering places. We’ve been on numerous food tours across Europe and Asia and Elio’s was hands down the best. Rather than having a tour guide, Elio was more like an extremely knowledgeable old friend with deep roots to the city and region, who knew the best places to visit. He was very organised yet easygoing, and made the evening very interesting for my school-aged child as well. If you are looking for a genuine, authentic view into the food culture and traditions of Seville I would most enthusiastically recommend Elio.

We enquired for a private work group of 15 people. We had such a wonderful time, the tour was amazing for such a big group there was so much food. Every place we went to was great! Elio took my wife and I on a tour around Sevilla on our anniversary and it was a great way to spend it! Elio was a brilliant guide, a proper local and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone around the town as we were walking around greeted him as a friend so we knew we were in good hands! What a fabulous experience! Elio knew exactly where to take us so we could experience the real Seville, his knowledge of food and drink bought it alive which added to the authenticity of the tour. He cares for his community, which makes it even more important for him that tourists understand where they can eat produce which is locally sourced and produced. He tailored the tour to accommodate our food preferences and even recommended vegan tours if that’s your thing. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a tour with Elio again.

We absolutely loved our Seville tapas tour with Elio! We did this tour on our first night in Seville and were so glad we did because Elio gave us a ton of recommendations, taught us about Spanish food, and showed us some unique spots that we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. We ate so much on this tour but each dish was super tasty and unique from the other spots on the tour. I am vegetarian and Elio was so helpful in making sure each location could accommodate with a few items of vegetarian food. Additionally, Elio had great communication before the tour and made himself available afterward to give other recommendations, including for restaurants in other cities we were visiting on our trip. My husband and I have done food tours in a few cities around Europe and this one blew the others out of the water. I highly recommend booking a Seville Tapas Tour with Elio—you won’t be disappointed!

STOP! Before you read another “food tour” review for Seville, you need to understand that this one is different! My husband and I have done plenty of tours and without question this was the best! Elio was amazing. His love and passion for his city and its food was so evident. We constantly passed people in the street who he greeted. The food we had was authentic and plentiful. Had such a great experience! We booked this tour on the day we were arriving in Seville, but unfortunately ran into flight delays and ended up being over an hour late. Elio was so understanding - luckily it was just my friend and me on the tour that evening, so he kindly waited nearby with a coffee until we arrived. Since we started late, we had to skip some of the pastry stops toward the end as they would be shut by the time we would get round to it (we booked the 7pm tour), but honestly, we were SO full by then that pastries would’ve been impossible anyway! The whole evening was so much fun. Elio made us feel like old friends, just hanging out and hopping between all these amazing tapas spots where the locals actually go. We tried a huge variety of traditional dishes, and our first stop at his wife’s place - with the wine, meats, and cheeses - was a real highlight. I’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seville. Definitely do it at the start of your trip, because Elio shares tons of recommendations for places to eat and visit - you’ll want time to check them out! 10/10 experience. Would love to do it again in the future.

Elio was a wonderful host in Sevilla! So knowledgeable about the city and always willing to help and offer wonderful recommendations. I was in Sevilla for only one day in May 2025, and it was the highlight of my trip! I loved the small sandwich place at the beginning and every stop offered wonderful bites and drinks. Im so glad I was able to pick up some ibérico ham, cheese and spicy pepper spread, and learn more about how to recognize high quality meat. Elio also provided a wonderful recommendation for a wine shop nearby that was lovely as well! We ended the tour with some sweets to go, which were gone the next day! :) once again muchas gracias Elio, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Sevilla and cannot recommend Elios tour enough! If you’re looking for an expert guide and a great time in Sevilla, Elio is your guy!

We had a really good time with Elio. Every place he brought us was somewhere we would have walked right by, but that would have been our loss because everything was delicious. He’s also a great conversationalist and very informative. Would highly recommend!

The tapas at these places were so amazing and, again, ones I wouldn’t have chosen without help. We had a great time with Elio on our tapas tour. He really made sure I could get the full experience even with some food allergies. Very knowledgeable local. Even gave us additional recommendations for Seville and some other cities we were planning on visiting. If you thinking about a tapas tour use Elio. If you not sure you want to do a tapas tour I think you should. We tried food we loved that we would not have ordered in our own. We also got to try more local shops that can be hard to navigate if you aren’t from there (no menus). Elio handles all the communication and seems to know all the workers. So you get a warm welcome and get to relax and learn about some local foods and culture.

Fantastic tapas tour with Elio. Starting with a little presentation in his family shop, we walked the beautiful streets around sunset stopping to have a variety of delicious food and drinks in several restaurants we wouldn’t have found on our own. Elio’s Tapas and Drink tour was fantastic. He shares his food, drink and regional knowledge in a fun and exciting manner. Elio answered all the questions we had about traditions and culture. The food presented at the different locations was delicious samples of traditional tapas and dishes that we may not have tried on our own. Everything was delicious and the amount was so filling. The restaurants chosen were obviously mainstays of Seville’s old town and run by local families. Elio’s tour was the best food tour we have taken in any city so far. Elio is a local with such enthusiasm about his own community, food and traditions which is rare in the tourist industry of today. Thanks so much Elio. 😘 5 stars for sure!!!!

A very authentic tour run by Elio.

Elio’s passion for food and wine is very evident as is his support of local products and suppliers. We enjoyed tasting local food and beverages and learning about them. We were lucky enough to have Elio to ourselves and it felt like spending an evening with a good friend. We would have no hesitation in recommending Elio’s tour.

If you want to experience incredible food and drink, in local, family run places that haven’t changed for decades go on Elio’s wonderful tour. A warm, friendly, affable man, who is passionate and knowledgeable not just about the food and wine of his country but also his city. He really wants to show you the best Seville has to offer and does all he can to make you feel welcome. One of our small party of four was pescatarian, so he tailored choices for her. And another was celebrating a big birthday so a candle was arranged on one of the many cakes in the final spot of our tour. Small touches that made the whole thing even more special. We went on our first night in Seville hoping the tour would help acclimatise us to the city. It did so much more. Elio was kind enough to leave us with a list of recommendations for other places. Brunches, coffees, roof top cocktails and incredible lunches were all from his list and each was as fantastic as the last. In fact, the one place we ate that wasn’t from Elio’s list was an extreme disappointment. We didn’t deviate from his recommends again! Elio basically made our weekend in Seville. We all are already planning to go back with husbands and partners and when we do we will most certainly be seeing Elio again. Highly, highly recommend.

Great tour with a great host!

The Sevilla Tapas Tour was the best night out in Seville. Elio was an excellent host and we ate beautiful food in places we would not have found as tourists. We learned a lot about the culture of the city, made some new friends and are now looking forward to trying more places on Elio's list of recommendations.

We always do food tours in each city that we visit. Elio did a great job with educating us on the area , sampling so many different local food and drinks (we were stuffed ) and walking to various parts of the city . He knew everyone as we walked from place to place !! We started our first night in Seville with Elio and his Tapas tour and WOW!!! We had the absolute best time!! We had the perfect day all set up by Elio! We did the morning food tour and tried things we haven’t had before or wouldn’t know about. Elio was a great guide and a true local. He got stopped by a few locals just to say hi, but that didn’t deter our tour. This tour was more than what we expected! First bites were phenomenal, we got a quick lesson on Iberian ham and sherry, headed over to Tirana where we got even more delicious food. By the end we were very satisfied and ready for a siesta. We’ve been to many food tours and this was definitely one of our top. At the end, Elio sent us some recs and list of the places we stopped at. You can tell Elio enjoys his city and supports the local businesses. 10/10 recommend taking one of his tours!

The Tapas tour with Elio was the highlight of our trip to Spain. He taught us about the ham, and sherry, and took us around to multiple spots to taste some the best food we had in Spain - all small portions - but you will be very full by the end. I highly recommend this tour! He was even able to select offerings for my picky eater - 13 yr old daughter - that she liked. she tried more new things in one night than she has in a year. We had an absolutely wonderful evening with Elio! We’ve done numerous “food tours” over the years and this was by far the best. Most of the tours we’ve done felt very packaged - the company assigns a guide, they do their job, you visit well known establishments (even though they may promote otherwise) and you feel like you’re getting a rehearsed script delivered a hundred times before. Elio is none of that. This is his business, he is the guide, he is so passionate about what he does it’s infectious. There’s no script, he treated us like we were his friends and conversation throughout the evening reflected that. By the end of the evening we felt we have a new friend in Seville. The places we experienced were truly off the tourist path - small independent family run eateries that have been operating for generations and who do not market themselves to tourists. We felt we were truly invited into his world. Elio cares deeply about his culture and his community and it was absolute pleasure to be in his company. Don’t do this tour if you’re looking for a well rehearsed, polished, packaged experience. Do this tour if you want the real thing. Elio, while Seville is a beautiful city, one that we have visited multiple times, it was the time spent with you that stands out the most. Elio took us on a great, informative tour of local neighborhood spots with amazing food. He was very knowledgeable about his hometown, its history, and gastronomy. Elio is fantastic!! A friend and I booked his Tapas Tour for the first day of our visit in Seville, and we had an amazing time. Not only is Elio friendly and welcoming, but he is extremely knowledgeable about food, wine, and everything Seville. He limits his tour groups to no more than 8 people (or perhaps 10) to deliver a more personalized experience. The tour took about 3 hours and we visited 5 different locally owned restaurants. Everything we ate and drank was delicious and made from scratch. Elio takes into account any dietary restrictions or preferences that you may have, and he does an excellent job of making sure that you get what you want from the tour. This tour was our favorite experience in Sevilla! We were very impressed prior to the tour with Elio finding accommodations for my pregnant wife. The Tour: The tour was everything we wanted. Elio welcomed us like family/long time friends in his home town. All shops that we toured were generation owned that showed the true authenticity and local life. We had a group of 8 of us with a mixture of dietary requirements and mobility issues and Elio catered to everyone wonderfully, not only was he incredibly friendly and approachable but he knew everything we could want to know about food. He curated the tour so that everyone could have something they liked and none of it was too far to walk, the restaurants and dishes were all lovely and he was eager to share the culture and history around them. The tour lasted around 3 hours and was a great way for us to learn during our first few days in the city. Elio is also a fantastic library of recommendations for places to eat not only here but all over, we had a lovely evening and would absolutely recommend it to anyone coming to Seville.

Elio was a wonderful host for our tapas tour of Seville. There was only my son and I and he kept the conversation flowing. We went to both Seville and Triana areas so not only tasted some great food but learned lots about Seville. My husband and I wish we had taken this tour at the start of our trip to Sevilla, so that we could revisit the wonderfully delicious “where the locals go and know” places that Elio took us to. We booked this tour for our first day in Sevilla a little hesitant at the value for money vs cost ratio. Wouldn't there be ample tapas places to find by ourselves? It soon became apparent the tour was worth every penny! Elio took us to 5 different, family owned traditional tapas houses away from touristy Santa Cruz, few of which we'd have found on our own and some of which we'd have been hesitant to enter! During our 3 hours trip we learned about sherry, the history of Seville and the conversation ranged widely (bullfighting, Real Betis vs Sevilla FC, mobile device dangers for young children). Highly recommended!!

Our tapas tour with Elio was both informative and delicious. He has inside knowledge of some tiny places only locals go to and he chose the best dishes at each place for us to try. Elio is expert on jamon iberico and passionate about sherry and happy to share his knowledge with his tour participants. The evening tour was very enjoyable and ended at a bakery so we could finish on a sweet note. More than enough food! Some great sherry, a local beer, and a new to us cocktail added to the fun.

What a great way to learn about a new city...our guide, Elio(sp?) was very knowlegable and so enthusiastic Sevilla and its culinary history. Walking down the street with him was like being home because every other person we walked by new his name and said hello.

Despite the rain, we had a fantastic tour. We experienced small and intimate restaurants. The choices of food was a balance of spices, olive oils and specialty foods, this gave us the chance to sample the Seville tapa food scene. I loved that everything was high quality and local.

I've been fortunate to have had dozens of food tours around the world. The tour today with Elio ranks right up there with the best of them! He is an outstanding host; knowledgeable and affable. He took us to five "hidden" places we never would have found. These little shops were family-run and oozing with character. We ate so many different items - I think close to fifteen in all - and sampled some fine beverages. Once in a while during travels, you might run into a true gem. This is one of them!

This tour is amazing!! Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Spain. We arrived early afternoon in Sevilla and decided to take a food tour that night. After reading the positive comments about the Sevilla Tapas Tour, we decided to book with them. Because we were booking last minute, we couldn’t reserve via the website – the site suggested we call to check availability. So, we called, and we are so glad that we did. The person on the other end of the line was Elio, the tour guide. He explained that no one had booked for that night; and that if we were willing, he would meet with us and run a tour just for the two of us. We accepted and met with him in the early evening. What followed was an unforgettable cultural and culinary experience. Elio was such a great host. Born and raised in Sevilla, he exuded a genuine passion for his city and its rich food culture. We loved that he shared fascinating insights into the traditions behind each dish and drink we sampled that night, hopping from place to place to sample different delicacies from local restaurants. Not only was he knowledgeable about food, but he also provided a wealth of information about Sevilla itself as we strolled from one place to the next. It was a great way to spend our first night in this beautiful city that was totally new to us. We spent so much time talking that we completely lost track of time! The last spot we were going to had closed, but the owner kindly agreed to stay open later for Elio so that we could come by and sample his sweet desserts. Just goes to show how much Elio is a respected individual, who is very close with shop and restaurant owners, and that he truly believes in showcasing some of the fine local food treasures that his city has to offer. After the tour, we continued chatting with Elio on WhatsApp. He sent us a bunch of recommendations for other places to eat while in Sevilla and tips for our travels to Madrid, Porto and Lisbon. If you’re going to Sevilla, please do yourself a favour, and book a tour with Elio. Don’t even think twice about it. You will be so thankful you did.

I need 10 Stars!!! We have had Tapas yours in various parts of Spain and this has been the absolute best. Elio is second to none! He contacted us as soon as we booked and a few minutes before the tour, ensuring we knew where to meet him. His passion and FIRST had knowledge for the ham, wines and food recipes is evident, he allows space to chat and tailors the experience to the group (within reason). I’m allergic to mango and apples and he described the ingredients on each tapa making sure none would harm me. Outstanding work!

A excellent tapas tour , Elio was born and grew up in the city and was extremely knowledgeable about the city and the typical tapas dishes the locals eat. This was one of the best things I did while in Sevilla. The length of the tour was really good, 2.5 hours, not too long, not too short. The size of the tour was also really good, only the four of us which meant that there wasn’t any struggling for space or to hear the guide.. Elio was also an excellent guide, gave us plenty of recs and was just an all round good dude. Solid recommend for anyone visiting!

I am so glad I toured with Sevilla tapas tour - Elia is a super enthusiastic guide, took us to the most authentic places and had so many great stories to tell about food but also Sevilla history and sites. Absolute must if you come to Seville . Our guide Elio was excellent, having been born and grew up a few steps from where we met he was both knowledgeable and passionate about the food, history of Seville and culture. We stopped at 5 very different places from a little hidden bar at the back of an delicatessen shop, his wife’s Ibericon ham shop where we learnt about the different grades of ham, one of the oldest bars in Seville, a beautiful tapas bar across the river ( in the heart of the flamenco and ceramic area) and finished with delicious pastry. We left full, knowledgeable and full of loads of excellent recommendations

Elio was absolutely amazing! By the end of the night, he’ll feel like a personal friend who wants to ensure that you eat well in his city. He’ll end the tour with all the stops/what was ordered along with a robust list of recommendations of where else to eat during your time in Seville. Take the tour early so you can eat “like a local” the entire time! De start van de tour is reeds geweldig. Elio laat perfect weten waar de plaats van afspraak is, wat heel handig is. Hij geeft een stukje geschiedenis mee van hoe hij zelf is begonnen. Elio provided an incredible tapas walking tour in Sevilla! I felt like I was on an episode of Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain at times. We had such a local and authentic experience from the jamon tasting and processing explanation to all the Andalusian delicacies we tried. All of the tapas were delicious and we learned a lot. We were stuffed by the end so arrive hungry! He gave us recommendations for other bars and restaurants to try in Sevilla on during our stay as well which was helpful.

Elio gave a great introduction to classic dishes during this tour. He’s very engaging, friendly, and real. I could tell I wasn’t getting a scripted tour; more like a “walk, chat, eat” tour of the city with a really lovely acquaintance. I liked the presentation that gave an overview of Iberian ham even though I’m not that fond of eating it. I left the tour with a good tasting of excellent foods and wines and wonderful memories. Although it’s probably okay to assume that someone who signs up for a food tour is open to (almost) anything, I would suggest asking people, especially it’s a small group as my tour was, if there’s anything they will not eat/drink (either by choice or necessity) to avoid the awkwardness of the people rejecting a dish or drink after it is placed in front of them. I think it’ll make for a better experience. Overall, this was a great experience. If you’re looking for a cool tapas tour, especially if you’re a solo traveler, look no further!

This means that you will have a much more personal experience and you will not feel like you are part of a commercial tour. This was the best food tour we have done anywhere. Elio was extremely helpful at communicating beforehand and then tailored the tour to our needs (eg one of us is vegetarian). I am a solo traveler and was the only one on the tour- many other companies would have cancelled but Elio was happy to take only me which was greatly appreciated. We tasted wonderful food and drink at different establishments and he was able to provide me with tips and information for everything Sevilla along the way. I highly recommend this tour- you won't be disappointed :)

This tour was truly amazing! My husband and I love doing food tours with locals, and this one exceeded all our expectations. Elio was the absolutely best tour guide, and went way above and beyond to give us a fantastic tour. His passion for food and drinks, as well as for the history of Sevilla came through in everything we did. Not only was our time with Elio amazing, but he gave us a great list of places to try during our time in Sevilla, and showed us places and foods we would have never found on our own. And since we were the only two people signed up, we got a private tour! Other tour companies would have definitely cancelled on us, but Elio gave us the best night. Elio tovani, our tapas tour guide was really nice, he helped us understand the authentic food habits of seville. He was so informative and sweet. He was keen that we have a beautiful experience. He took us to the most outstanding tapas tour to various restaurants who have indeepth knowledge of the culture. The cherry on top of was bakery which had zero preservatives. Overall lovely experience. We were vegetarian and than also we had some amazing local vegetarian tapas at oldest restraunt in seville which was started in 1850 and food was similar to Indian culture . The walking was nice between places to get to know the different neighborhoods and some interesting history of the city and the areas. Overall 5 stars. I did the tapas tour with Elio last week and enjoyed the experience immensly. Since the groups are always kept quite small, he could give us his full attention. Elio knows the city like the back of his hand and he could answer all the questions we had. He also made sure to order food we'd like and had not eaten yet. Make sure you start the tour with an empty stomach because there will be a lot of food :) Overall, I would recommend this tour to everyone !

A terrific tour - lots of fun, information, and good food. Elio is an enthusiastic native of Seville with much knowledge of all things Andalusian. We went to several bars/restaurants frequented by the locals for a variety of tapas and finished at a local bakery for dessert. In addition to our tour stops, Elio provided tips and links for places to eat and drink on our own. It was a great experience!

Our group of 4 had the BEST time with Elio last week! He took us to some real local hidden gems and we got to taste so many delicious drinks and tapas dishes that we never would’ve known how to order. The tour takes you from central Seville and then over the bridge in to Triana, all accompanied by Elio’s fantastic knowledge and stories. Elio was a great host, and really led the tour according to what we wanted when made it feel really personal. For example I’d mentioned I hadn’t had a chance to try the fried fish so he made sure we had some! He was very friendly and knowledgable, and all the food and wine we tried was amazing!

My husband and I had a fabulous time with Elio on his tapas tour! We were in Sevilla during the low season (late November) so it ended up being just the two of us on the tour, which was great. I'm currently pregnant, so I was unable to eat a few things (or drink, sadly) and Elio was extremely accommodating and coordinated several substitutions for me. This was easily the best tour we took in Seville and most likely the best tour we have ever taken. Elio is amazing!!! He took us to several locations, serving us a large variety of tapas and providing us with a plethora of knowledge about this amazing city and it’s foods. We loved the foods and drinks so much that we even went back to eat and drink at some of the locations the following day. I think our only regret was not taking this tour on our first day in Seville. Great tour with a lovely guide! I ended up doing the tour alone and appreciated not being cancelled despite it being just me. Elio communicated throughout really well and with enthusiasm. The selection of places and tapas is great - and Elio can tailor it depending on preferences. It includes drink pairing with food, lots of interesting information about jamón ibérico and sherry, and good pace throughout. It was nice to be able to visit different areas and chat along the way. Highly recommended, do this tour when first arrive in Seville, if you love food and drink, this is the tour for you! Booking was super easy and there was communication throughout to the point of meeting Elio. Eilo was very welcoming, we started the evening off with an insight to the local produce and that set the tone for the tour. Taking us to little spots we would never imagine going to with the locals. Each dish and drink Elio went into the history behind it and it made you appreciate it that little bit more. During the tour we talked about some local delicacies and Eilo tailored the tour midway through to let us try them. After the tour Eilo sent us a detailed list of the places we had visited and other recommendations to try throughout our stay. I cannot tell you how lucky I feel that I discovered Sevilla Tapas Tours. We LOVE a food tour, we have done many all over the world, so I have very high expectations and Elio absolutely delivered. Firstly, we fell in love with Elio. He is from Seville and what he doesn’t know about the local food is’t worth knowing. He has a genuine passion and it feels like he knows everyone in the whole city. Secondly, the tour was awesome! An insane amount of tasty food was consumed, you certainly won’t go hungry. My parents did another food tour with a different company and they were quite envious when we told them about some of the places we visited with Elio. Lastly, what I liked most is the companies genuine ethos for you to have the best experience possible. Their tours will go ahead even if only 1 person signs up and they limit their group size to 8 people so it always feels personal. If you are looking for an amazing experience this is THE food tour to book. Elio is an amazing tourer. He is really pationnated by Seville. Please be prepared to walk a lot. See a lot of places. Do not eat before the tour because the food is amazing and there is a lot to taste. We've learned about the history of different restaurant, differente historical things that happened. Let me tell you that at the end of the tour we were more than full, we appreciated the different wines pairing. At the end of the night we all had a little chit chat and Elio made us laugh really hard with all his stories. Personnaly I will definitely come back with all my family and book again with him. If you were ever considering a tapas tour, I cannot recommend this highly enough. We should have been a party of 6 but ended up as a ‘private’ tour of 2. Elio made the tour an absolute delight. With his intimate knowledge of Seville, he took us to places that we would not have gone into, where we tried a variety of food and drink. All of them delicious. Elio is a very helpful guide, full of interesting information and great recommendations. He is perfect for this kind of tour, with lots of knowledge to share. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because last year we did a pinxtos tour in Blibao and all the dishes we tried then were AMAZING; so Seville had high standards to match and the food was not as consistently outstanding as we enjoyed last year.

Best decision ever! Take this private tour as you arrive! Elio (our guide) was excellent! We were a group of six and he came to our hotel to get us. The experience was fantastic! Knowledge about Spanish food (more than I can explain to my friends) and places to go. I’d say you have to do this and then plan the rest of your holiday.
