“Highly recommended. Elio the guide is local to Seville having lived here all his life. We were taken to local bars and restaurants tasting local delicacies. Very informative including wine and food. A must on your visit to Seville”
Seville Tapas Tour
3 hours of authentic tapas, local wine, and hidden gems with your friend Elio
More Than a Tour: An Evening with Friends
Forget tourist restaurants and guidebook recommendations. On our tapas tour, you'll discover the bars where sevillanos actually eat: tiny, bustling spots with no English menus, where the bartender knows everyone by name.
The kind of bar where you stand because there are no chairs. The kind of jamón ibérico that's cut by hand, in front of you, by someone who's been doing it longer than you've been alive. The kind of sherry locals drink at 11am with breakfast. Elio knows every owner on the tour by first name — and after three hours, so will you.
Booking ahead? You save 10%.
Book at least 30 days before your tour and we'll take 10% off automatically — same tour, same bars, same Elio. It's our way of thanking the people who plan ahead. Weekends fill up first, so if you have dates in mind, lock them in.

Why Choose Us
- We limit our tours to a maximum of 8 people (Mon–Thu) and 6 people (Fri–Sat) to offer an ideal experience, and to stay away from +12 people groups.
- Traveling alone? We got you covered. Our minimum to do a tour is 1 person, so we will not let you down.
- We send a list of the stops and tapas tasted at the end of the tour, as well as recommendations for your next days in Seville.
- We are a 2-person business, not a multinational. We are local.
- Family-friendly: children aged 0–2 join for free (just let us know when booking). Elio has a natural way with kids, and they usually have a great time on the tour!
- Planning your trip to Seville and not sure where to start? Just ask us. We're happy to help with recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and how to make the most of your visit.
Elio — born here, fed up with the alternative
Elio was born and raised in Seville. He spent years working as an IT technician before falling into food tours almost by accident — and then spending several seasons guiding for one of the biggest tapas tour companies in the city.
The problem? Bigger groups every season. Less time at each bar. A guide handing off to another guide. Quantity over the thing that made the tour worth doing in the first place.
So in late 2021 he started Sevilla Tapas Tour — a two-person operation with one rule: small groups, real bars, no shortcuts. Every tour you book, you walk it with Elio himself. No franchised guides. No scripts.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the tapas tour?
The tour includes 10+ tastings across 4-5 authentic bars, 5 drinks (wine, beer, sherry, or soft drinks), and a knowledgeable local guide who'll share the stories behind each dish and neighborhood.
How long does the tour last?
The tour lasts approximately 3 hours. We take our time — no rushing! It's all about enjoying the food, the conversations, and the atmosphere.
Where does the tour start?
It depends on your tour time: morning tours usually meet at Plaza Nueva, evening tours at Calle Adriano. You'll receive the exact details and a text from Elio 24h before.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance as our groups are small (max 8 Mon–Thu, max 6 Fri–Sat) and spots fill up quickly, especially during peak season.
Is there a discount for booking early?
Yes! Book your tour more than a month in advance and you'll save 10%. The discount is applied automatically at checkout based on your booking date — there's no promo code to enter or anything to do on your end. Just book ahead and the lower price shows up by itself.
Is the tour suitable for vegetarians or people with food allergies?
Absolutely! Just let us know about any dietary requirements when you book, and we'll make sure there are delicious options for you at every stop. Seville has amazing vegetarian tapas!
What happens if it rains?
The tour runs rain or shine! Most of our stops are indoors at cozy bars, so rain actually adds to the atmosphere. We only cancel in extreme weather conditions, in which case you'll receive a full refund.
Is the tour available in languages other than English?
Our main tours are in English, but Elio is also fluent in Spanish. For private tours, we can arrange guides in other languages — just ask!
How much walking is involved?
We walk about 2 km total at a leisurely pace through flat streets. The tour is accessible for most fitness levels. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us and we'll accommodate you.
Can children join the tour?
Absolutely! Children aged 0–2 join for free — just let us know when you book so we can prepare. Older kids are welcome too, and Elio has a natural way with children — they usually have a blast on the tour! We'll make sure there are kid-friendly food options at every stop, and non-alcoholic drinks are always available.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before the tour. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, but you can reschedule to another date subject to availability. For the full details, see our Terms & Conditions.
How many people are in each group?
We keep our groups small — maximum 8 people from Monday to Thursday, and 6 on Fridays and Saturdays. This way, Elio can give everyone personal attention, and the experience feels more like going out with friends than a typical tour.
What makes this tour different from other food tours in Seville?
We take you to the places where locals actually eat — not tourist traps. Elio was born and raised in Seville and knows every hidden gem. Our guests consistently say it feels like exploring the city with a local friend, not a tour guide.
What Our Guests Say
“A great experience. Elio was more like an old friend than a tour guide. He is an expert concerning sherry, imberico, and life in Seville. Fantastic tapas from authentic spots that the locals frequent. Elio is accommodating on every level. We highly recommend for a small group, personal experience.”
“Small tour with so much charm! Elio really knows his city and the tour starts off in his own neighbourhood. The camaraderie with the restaurant owners and folks around the tour really made this feel like something special. Every bite was delicious and we learned so much about sherry, wine and local food! 10/10 recommend this tour!”
“I couldn’t recommend Elio’s food tour enough. My partner and I went on our first day in Sevilla, and we were blown away by Elio’s knowledge, passion and charisma. We had some wonderful food and drinks and it was an amazing opportunity to visit family run restaurants that you wouldn’t know about as a tourist. It was a great way to get to know this wonderful city. We also visited some of Elio’s recommendations outside the tour, which were equally as fabulous. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sevilla who loves food.”
“Elio seriously knows his stuff. Hands down the best food tour I’ve ever been on. We decided to do this on our first day in Seville and it’s already the best part of our trip. We would not have known where the best food places are and Elio showed us with fantastic enthusiasm and wisdom, 100% would recommend to anyone - such an incredible time. Thank you Elio”
“Definitely a highlight of our trip to Seville! Elio has all the local insights and great tips. Highly recommend!”
